Biology and Appearance
Frogs are almost humanoid in appearance, but biologically are most similar to what humans know as mushrooms. While they mostly match the appearance of most humanoid species, they do not have a head, as their face is at the topside of their torso. They do, however, have a mushroom-like cap on top of their torso where humanoid species typically have a head, but this is fundamentally different in form for Frogs. Their caps come in a variety of colors and patterns, however most have white spots on a base that usually is only one color. While they are attracted to scents most consider foul, they themselves often give off a sweeter smell.
Culture
Frogs are a communicative species, and typically revolve around “kingdoms” which they are loyal to. While they follow the usual logic of castles, royal titles, and appropriate headpieces, their “Royals” are usually picked by democratic or republic-based processes. They seem to be more informed of the governmental roles by almost fairy-tale like stories, but have created the necessary governing practices themselves.
Their entertainment and education is primarily fueled by storytelling, and many of their events are recorded in fable-like prose. They also enjoy a variety of sports, which is said to have been introduced to their culture by their first King.
