Ulvic

Biology and Appearance

Ulvic are a humanoid species recognized by their pale skin, dark hair, and black eyes with white pupils. Their bodies are adapted to the planet of Iris’s irregular light patterns, allowing them to absorb the limited starlight on the planet for heat and see in the dark environments.

Culture

The Ulvic are used to using Iris’s resources and difficult environment, adapting with a tech-centric culture. They are unintentionally isolationist, mostly due to their difficulty interacting with other cultures, primarily due to light sensitivity. They are also used to their protective armors, including helmets.

• Inverted Darkvision
  • Your vision can easily cut through darkness. You can see in dim light within 180 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Unlike most, you can discern color in the darkness.
• Sunlight Sensitivity
  • You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
